About Mewis

When I was 18, I moved to Rotterdam to study. A few months into my program, I fell on my head and acquired a brain injury. I had a lot of difficulties with my eyes and couldn't properly do the things I loved the most: reading and writing. Over these years, I developed a passion for communication and psychology. During my time as a tour guide, I discovered the power of delivering a message in an engaging way, which sparked a fascination with rhetoric. It has now been two years since I started facilitating workshops about this skill, deepening my understanding of human behavior. Since my sudden recovery, I have given myself more space to engage with the state of the world. I've also noticed that it is not a perfectly wholesome place. Still, I remain hopeful. I believe that individual change and systemic change are interconnected. That’s why 'using your voice for good' is always discussed in the newest workshops. My fascination with rethoric has set off a path of becoming a more empathic person myself. A person that’s always learning, and ever more open to connection. A trait I love to inspire in others.
